Rosette Nebula (Caldwell 49)

The Rosette Nebula (Caldwell 49) and Open Cluster NGC 2244 (the grouping of stars in the middle) can be found in the constellation of Monoceros, and is at a distance of about 5,000 light years from Earth, and roughly 130 light years in diameter. The radiation from the young stars excite the atoms of the gas in the nebula, causing them to emit radiation themselves producing the emission nebula (the red colored glow that we see).
