Dumbbell Nebula (M27)

The Dumbbell Nebula (M27) is a planetary nebula with a white dwarf in its center. This object is located in the constellation of Vulpecula and is roughly ~1,350 light years away from Earth. This photo was taken from the Pleasant Pointe Observatory by Will Jackson and Kevin Bartee, and guest astronomer Charles J Gantt.
