This is a video created from 200, 1 minute exposures on the morning of October 9th, 2010 out of Pleasant Pointe Observatory in Aiken, SC. The images were acquired from 12:42am - 4:02am and were later animated in post processing. The object of interest is comet 103P Hartley, as it is seen moving across a background of stars that make up the constellation of Perseus.
